Oren Blam, MDOren Blam, MD

Orthopedic Surgeon - Spine Specialist

Oren Blam, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in spine disorders and surgery, including:

"I specialize in the surgical treatment of spinal problems, including the neck, lower back and upper back. Non-surgical treatments are most common for spinal maladies, but when they fail, hope is not lost. Spinal surgery is highly effective when done on the right person, for the right reasons, and in the right way. Most exciting, there are techniques of spine surgery to achieve all these goals while reducing postoperative pain and shortening recovery. Therefore, I often consider minimally-invasive spine surgery procedures."

"My practice involves bringing the most advanced, cutting-edge concepts and techniques of spine surgery to the community. I do so while taking the time to discuss the patient's individual problems and to explain plainly the best solutions."

Dr. Blam earned his medical degree at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed a general surgery internship at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia and his orthopedic surgery residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
